Walk out on the water by =raine-angel:iconraine-angel:

Walk out on the water
Intro:

Verse 1:

I wanna tell you a story about a man
Someone I knew from long ago
He was strong  just like a lion
But his heart was made of stone
I asked him to my house one day
He got lost along the way
And when he finally did arrive
That poor man broke down and cried

Pre Chorus:

And I said

Hey Man why are you crying
He said I think I just saw a Ghost
And it was walking on the water
And he told me he loved me most

Chorus: (faster)
But I wasn't scared
And as he held out his Hand
He told me to walk out on the water,  Oh child Just walk out on the water

It was a little strange
And it sure wasn't planned
But I walked out on the water, yea I tell you I walked out on the water

Verse 2:

I thought about his heart of stone
As my friend recalled and cried
I asked him if it was a dream
He looked up at me and sighed

Pre:

I said: Hey man don't you be lying
He said: You know it couldn't have been a Ghost
I remember reading somewhere
'bout a man who died because he loved me most

Chorus: (faster)
I wasn't scared
when  he held out his Hand
He told me to walk out on the water, oh my child Just walk out on the water

It was a little strange
And it sure wasn't planned
But I tell you I walked out on the water, yea I said I walked out on the water
Walked over to him

Author's Comments

So after the Last official corner stone ever, I was inspired to write this song. It's kinda like, In the Bible Peter is in this boat and Jesus is all like, "Hey Pete, come walk on the water wih me" and Pete is all "ahh a Ghost!" I tried to think of what it would be like if this happened to someone I knew. You'd kinda have to see the halarious dramatisation we watched regarding this... anyway.. yea it's for acoustic, and it's pretty bouncy. Praise and Worship type stuff. Hope you like it, I'll record it soon

Well...
I could definitely hear a tune, but...
I'm not a big fan of Christian music. Not a Christian, so that could explain it.
It's catchy, though.
