Gorgeous! I love the composition and the lighting.. 'n pretty well everything of this image!
I'd never be able to wear a tail like that.. I'd go absolutely nuts not bein able to move my legs independently I had never even thought of mermaid tails being something people would make (Makes sense, just never thought of it before) .. pretty nifty stuff, though it's a shame the tailor is a mess of a situation..
this is equipped with a monofin! there's a video of me swimming in it on here, it's actually easy once you get the hang of it and SUPER powerful. I found that out after I plowed face first into the bottom of the pool
haha, ouch! That is an unfortunate way to find out about tail power.. though I could completely see how it would give you a lot of power to swim with.. I'll have to go check out the vid! I'm so beyond curious about this now .. I do the renaissance festival thing (though no real good photos posted here of me at ren fest) 'n find it lots of fun! so I can only imagine how fun this is!
well if youre interested about learning more there's a fantastic forum where you can learn to make swimable and dry ones www.mer.yuku.com it's got great tutorials!
I'll check it out for sure! Just hope my bf doesn't see me browsing amongst it.. he might cry if I come up with yet another project (Working on making a full new ren fest outfit.. so all he hears about right now, esp since CO ren fest season isn't very far off, is all my new ideas for my outfit, if I throw out a mermaid idea he might drop on the spot, hahaha)
Very nice! The lighting is great!
