how much did this tail cost? im doing a humanoid Magikarp cosplay this summer and its basically a mermaid (im getting it from the mertailor) and i was wanting to know if thats the 1,600 tail or 575 tail thank you ^.^

I dont recommend the mertailor. when I bought this it was 1000$ but now he sells them for 575. I had another artist have to re do my tail completely. You can see my evidence of this here [link] because if you approach the mertailor and ask him about it, he will tell you I'm lying etc. There are other options out there you can see from www.mermaidtails.net a list of tail makers.

Wow. I read that whole thing about the scam, and that's unbelievable. :/ I'm in the middle of trying to make my tail, and I'm SO GLAD I didn't cop out and decide to buy it from Mertailors ><

yah thats actually no longer linking to my specific review, mine is on www.mernetwork.com under "mertailor review" by AniaR in the review section. I have photos and everything. If you're trying to make or buy a tail it can be hard to figure out who to go with Im hoping new makers will start up soon so people have more choices.

Well, I'm not super interested in /selling/ the tails I make, but I'd certainly like to get them done u.u

Unfortunately, I have very overzealous visions. My very first tail, and I'm trying to make a lionfish >< It's not turning out well at all XDD

I like the position and the tale looks fantastic, the pose works well too. However I wished the surroundings were different and the photograph was sharper.

yeah it's hard to get underwater shots where I am because the ocean is usually too cold, and the lakes are too murky! But Im going to try out some new destinations this summer :)
