This is a screen shot from a short underwater film I took. I know it's not the best quality, but there isn't any other applicable gallery for me.

~MerBellas fixed my tail up for me so it fits and has some pretty details so I went swimming with it today. I thought this shot looked pretty depressed mermaid or something haha thought it was funny and neat.

I'll post a couple stills. I think they'll probably end up moved to my scraps cuz of quality, but thought you'd like to see.

NO CRITIQUE PLEASE. Considering it's from a video and I can't control very much other than when I take the screenshot :P

I did not have a good experience with the person who made my tail. You can read a review here: [link] and you can read a history of issues with the person here [link]

Forgive me if this is a personal question, but where did you purchase your tail?

I bought it from the mertailor, but it was too short, made of a strange material not as advertised, and had a lot of issues with the fluke. I sent it to ~MerBellas who's old tails were made by the same person, and she added an extra strip of neoprene to it to make it long enough, took it in so it fit, re-painted it, and fixed the fluke. So while I did get it from the mertailor I can't really 100% say that's where I got it go get one from there!

Oh okay. Funnily enough my boyfriend and I were considering getting tails from the Mertailor. We were sucked in by his flashy site, and of course the tails are beautiful, when done correctly!
But they're so expensive, we put it on hold. I'm glad we did, I've been reading up on the Mertailor, and am spilt as to whether he's trustworthy or not!
Would you happen to know any other craftsperson who makes these tails?

if you google mer yuku you can see the forum I use and find out all about the other people who make tails. I will say I feel the mertailor is stepping up his game after a bit of bad press and experiences. We've been in contact recently and I think he's trying to make amends with me as well as some other unhappy customers. It's important to do your research but he may be worth a chance. You can always contact him and say you have concerns and ask questions :)

That's good to know. I think it'll be a while before I can even think of getting a tail, seeing as they're so expensive! But I'm saving, so hopefully by the time I have the money, Eric will have picked up his game a bit. I'm glad to hear he's trying to correct his mistakes and make ammends with you.
Thankyou for your help
